Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise - the fruit of lips that confess his name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Hebrews 13:15-16

HE IS RISEN!

HE IS LORD...HE IS LORD...HE IS RISEN FROM THE DEAD AND HE IS LORD... EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW. EVERY TONGUE CONFESS, THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!

JESUS shed his blood on the cross for you and me! He did it out of love for each of us so that someday we would have the opportunity to spend eternity with him. He was beaten and broken so that someone as unworthy as me would be able to spend eternity with him in paradise. I am so undeserving and unworthy of such a gift. The least I can do in my life is give him my ALL in return. He has poured out his blessing on me and my family. I hope that I can show his love each and every day to someone. I cannot imagine what a miserable being I might be without Him. It is comforting to know that someday I will be in his presence.

"I can only image what i would be like when I walk by your side...I can only imagine...when all I can do is forever...forever worship you...I CAN ONLY IMAGINE".

Thank you Jesus for loving me! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a mommy to four wonderful little boys and a wife to an AMAZING husband. You certainly had some plans for us 13 years ago! Thank you for allowing me to see two of my four boys accept you as their Savior. I know that there is another little boy that is only 5 but at such a young age loves you very deeply. What a comfort it is to know that I will see them in your presence one day! May I continue to bless you through the good and the bad...through the laughter and the tears...through sorrow and pain!

The Walkway...

Last weekend we began one of our many projects to complete around the house. Here is the picture of the stone we put down. Of course, we still have some work to do but the biggest obstacle is complete for this project. I thought David and I did a pretty good job. This is one of those things we have wanted to do for several years but just dreaded doing it. I am so glad that we finally broke down and started on it. More pictures to come as we make progress.

Noah had lots of fun while mom and dad were working....playing on his blanket out in the yard...and sitting in his toy basket!!!

Let the projects begin...

All week we had been planning on taking the kids to Dollywood to start using our season passes but David woke up with some inner ear going on. So, we figured it was probably not a good day for him to ride roller coasters with the boys. Although they were a little disappointed the boys were really happy to spend a day at home. Mason always tells me how he never gets to stay at home all day anymore. Poor guy. When Mason started kindergarten he was so upset that he had to go every day and that he would not be home at all during the week. He once told me he would rather go to school a day and stay home a day then go to school a day and be home a day...I am sure we all wish it was that way. Since Dollywood was out of the question today we started some of our spring/summer projects around the house today. With an older house there is ALWAYS something that needs to be done. First of all being our front walkway...(pictures to come later). We never hire anyone to do any of our projects. David and I are very much do it ourselves kind of people. If we don't know how we figure it out. It may not always turn out perfect every time but we always have fun in the process and learn something new as we go. Last year we added on our screened in porch which we are still working on. Being pregnant and having a newborn put a damper on finishing a few things. This year I am determined to finish the screened porch of course, the walkway, and the landscaping. I have always had a green thumb. I love flowers and plants and digging in the dirt but at this house it has been a constant struggle to get my plants and flowers to grow. I am hoping to change that this year! Even though the day didn't start out like we had planned...it was a GREAT day! I enjoyed spending the day working outside with David and the kids. The kids even helped take up the old walkway! I think it was fun at first and then by the time we were done...not so much! I am very proud of them though for starting the job and staying with it until it was finished. God sure has blessed me with some wonderful boys!!! (Big and little)

Jack and the chicks!

Every year David orders several hundred baby chickens for the 4-H kids to do their Chick Chain. So, every year we go and play with the baby chickens. This little guy loves these baby chickens. Actually he loves anything that has to do with his daddy...and rightly so he has a pretty amazing daddy! He is right behind David wherever he is and wants to go to work with him every day. It is see ya later mom when dad is around!

Here we go...

So for awhile now I have wanted to start a blog. Of course, my husband's comment was "and when do you think you will have time to do this?". Very true! Running after four little boys...10, 8, 5 and 8 months keeps me pretty busy...but we will give it a try. This definately won't be any every day ordeal but I would love to share just a glimpse of our lives and to let you see Where Four Boys Grow!!!
